This is no time to panic…

… this is the perfect time to panic

GenCon is almost here and even though we have been preparing for months is it even possible to be prepared? Are we prepared? What is being prepared anyways? How did “prepared” become and existential question? Have I typed “prepared” enough that semantic satiation (google it) has taken effect?

Here’s a quick rundown of where Durdle Games stands before they take off for GenCon.

SpellDice:Sorcery Saloon is ready to demo!

We have 10 copies of SpellDice: Sorcery Saloon prepped and ready to share with any interested publishers. Getting to 10 copies was an effort of will, craftsmanship, and very liberal printer policies from the Cincinnati Public Library. The library has definitely earned a “yes” vote from Darren the next time a levy is on the ballot.

Cramazon is almost ready to go!

Cramazon is nearly ready to go. The cards have been printed and the card sleeves are in hand. We just need to print a few cover arts, agree on a final 1.0 version of the rule book, and slap everything into a box. We won’t have as many copies of this game with us, as it still needs more play testing, but if you see a bunch of gamers yelling “BEEEEEESSS!!!!” in a gaming hall, you’ve found us.

And finally we have the most important part of any convention- FREE SWAG!

Durdle Games business cards and buttons are ready to give away!

If you’re interested in trying ‘Spelldice’ or ‘Cramazon’ look for us at GenCon. Send us a message through our Contact Page if you would like to meet up to try our prototypes.
